Participating in medical research enables Atlantic Health to offer patients the most effective drugs and procedures available anywhere in the country. Atlantic Health conducts research in a wide variety of areas to help evaluate experimental drugs and drug combinations, medical devices, and procedures.

Atlantic Health’s Office of Grants and Research facilitates participation in research studies by
providing human subject protection, administering grants and contracts, and offering professional research education and training.
